The European Commission published on March 10th a new Strategy to help Europe’s industry lead the twin transitions towards climate neutrality and digital leadership. The Strategy aims to drive Europe’s competitiveness and its strategic autonomy at a time of moving geopolitical plates and increasing global competition.

Country Report Romania 2018
The European Commission published this month the Country Report for 2018, in terms of investments, Romaniaʼs net international investment position (NIIP) has continued to improve. The NIIP reached -49.9 % of GDP in 2016, almost 5 percentage points above the 2015 level.
New financing options for Romanian SMEs
The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Raiffeisen Bank, have signed a COSME agreement that will allow the Bank to provide RON 800,000,000 (ca. EUR 177m) in loans to small and medium-sized Romanian businesses.
